FindMyPast has recently updated two databases on their platform:

Warwickshire Parish Records

Hundreds of thousands of new baptism, marriage, and burial records from St Martin in the Bull Ring, Birmingham have been added to Findmypast. The update includes more than 138,000 baptism records, 155,000 marriage records and 101,000 burial records. Take a look at Findmypast’s comprehensive parish list to acquaint yourself with all the churches and the timespan of the entries in the extensive Warwickshire collection.

Warwickshire, Coventry Midwife’s Birth Register 1845-1875

Mary Eaves, a midwife from Coventry, assisted in over 4,400 births throughout her career, which spanned from 1847 to 1875. Her meticulously kept registers are now accessible online exclusively on Findmypast. Born in Coventry in around 1806, Mary delivered 34 twins and sadly witnessed 21 deaths during childbirth, involving five newborns and 16 mothers.

In collaboration with the Coventry Family History Society, Findmypast offers exclusive access to an array of unique resources from the area, including old pawnbroker tickets, air raid reports, and more.

Newspapers

The Findmypast team have added 44 new newspaper resources to their digitized archive at an impressive speed this week. Some notable additions include:

Age from 1853, Agricultural Advertiser and Tenant-Farmers Advocate from 1846, Bells Family Newspaper from 1858, Brights Intelligencer and Arrival List from 1860, British Banner from 1848-1849, 1853, and 1855, and many more.
